Cheerful Spirits - 3 years

Cheerful Spirits students are exposed to a variety of content in a structured setting throughout the school year. Various group and individual activities are used to introduce basic concepts and skills. They work on gross and fine motor skills, as well as, number, shape, color and first name recognition. They sing songs, participate in finger plays and interact with each other. Some of the science topics include daily weather, plant growth, dental health, the five senses and nature observation. Cheerful Spirits explore our world by learning about fire prevention, modes of transportation, dental health and the seasons. We celebrate holidays and focus on both the secular and religious meanings of these important days. Art activities are used to allow children to enjoy the creative process. In addition, the classes will go on a few field trips to reinforce the curriculum. Parents join us on these trips!
